Axon Enterprise failed to bounce early Wednesday, a day after being among the biggest S&P 500 losers on Tuesday, as investors reacted negatively to its plan to issue $1 billion in 0% convertible notes. The stock reaction appeared to penalize Axon far more than the implied dilution, given that the $1 billion sum only amounts to about 2.5% of the current market cap. Axon chief financial officer Brittany Bagley said on the Q2 earnings call that cash flow was -$1 million last quarter amid "inventory investments to support customer demand and reduce supply chain risk as we scale."
